Tell us about your practice.
What made you decide to open your own business?
What has been the most challenging aspect of building your business?
I find the most challenging aspect to be juggling the management of a full case load and also knowing that I should be marketing myself/my business to more referral sources. In order to grow my Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) specialty, I am making a committed effort to reach out to more pediatricians and nursery schools.
What has been the most rewarding part of building your business?
What has been the most rewarding part of building your business?
The most rewarding part has been the opportunity to truly connect with and help my clients and their families successfully navigate and find solutions to their mental health issues. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents and young adults for several years to help them establish a solid platform for future growth. I also like the flexibility, which comes with having my own practice and setting my own schedule and hours.
How has Private Practice Studio helped you in achieving your business goals?
The workshop that I took with Liz provided a good foundation and resource for questions and issues that come up in my practice.
Anything else you would like us to know?
Starting my own private practice was easier than I imagined and it has been very rewarding. I would encourage anyone that has a desire to have his or her own private practice to not delay any longer, it is a dream that you can make come true!
